Train-the-Trainer Workshop for "Coding for Good" Badges

Want your troop to earn the "Coding for Good" badges but need help to structure a program that you can teach? In partnership with GSWW, DigiPen Institute of Technology in Redmond is offering a train-the-trainer program specifically for "Coding for Good" on Saturday,March 28th from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. This 3-hour hands-on session will give you an opportunity to see a "Coding for Good" workshop in action, and then it will cover the following: 

• Topics and outcomes that need to be delivered for each of the three "Coding for Good" badges
  
• Basic training on web-based development environments that you can use to teach with
  
• Development of lesson plans that are customized to your situation

Prerequisite:

• Prior coding experience is beneficial but not necessary.
