Overview
Using a computer is much more than turning it on and playing a game or watching a video. This course introduces students to typing, word processing, and graphic design. We will discover the parts of the computer and how they work. Students will also learn the basic file structure system of a computer, learn how to cut, paste, save, and open files, and how to use the internet responsibly. Some time each class will spend working on keyboard skills.
Mid-Winter Break will be February 21st-25th. Spring Break will be April 4th-8th. Classes will not occur during these breaks.
