Description

This studio course is ideal if you have prior experience working with 2D and/or 3D digital art tools to create game and animation artwork. Whether you want to focus on animating a character for a short animation or model a 3D environment for a game engine, this class provides the individualized opportunity to grow from where you are. There can even be opportunities to collaborate with other students on a small team-based project*.

The Digital Art and Animation Studio experience begins with the instructor assessing your existing skills and interests. The instructor will then develop an individualized learning plan that takes into consideration the type of artwork you would like to focus on. Using an inquiry-based approach, the instructor will facilitate your learning plan through a variety of challenges that will also reinforce design principles and processes that build towards for the project you would like to create.

Students will need to have their own digital drawing tablet (eg. Wacom CTL400, Huion Inspiroy H640P) for this course.
