Description

The Music and Sound Design Studio program allows you to customize your learning experience whether you want to learn more about electronic dance music production techniques and tools, or composing music for an animation or video game, or even improving your DJ performance skills. After assessing your current music experience and interests, the instructor will collaborate with you to create an individual learning plan that will guide you through the skills and techniques you will need. There can even be opportunities to collaborate with students on a small team-based project*.

Benefits of Studio format:

  • Emphasis on individual growth through personalized assessment and learning plan for each student
  • Instructor focus to ensure fluency with fundamental music knowledge
  • Engaging project work that is aligned with student interest
  • Given the individualized nature of the course, this studio is designed to be repeatable

* DigiPen will discuss the option for students to work together on a game project but cannot guarantee that students will choose to do so. In such situations, students will be directed to work on their own projects.

Tuition includes:

  • MIDI Keyboard Controller
