3D Modeling (ON-SITE)

Whether you are interested in modeling 3D environments for a game or animating fantastic creatures for an animation, you will need to be proficient with the powerful digital art tools utilized by the industry. Through a variety of hands-on projects, you will be introduced to the tools and techniques professional artists use while creating their own 2D and 3D animations. You will also gain an appreciation for the importance of traditional art animation skills as you experience firsthand how each step of the art production process works.

You will learn:

• Basic computer graphics theory including color space and bit-depth, file formats
• 2D and 3D digital art production pipeline
• Understanding and ability to use Adobe Photoshop to create illustrations and textures
• Gain basic level of competency with Autodesk Maya to model, texture, rig, animate, dynamics, light, and render images
