Description

This course will teach you the skills and tools that animators use to bring their artwork to life. Using a variety of both traditional and digital animation techniques, you will be guided through the production process to create a series of short animations using different techniques.

You will learn:

  • How animation works and the basic production process used to create animations
  • Basic technical animation skills using different traditional and digital animation techniques
  • Key animation principles including squash and stretch, anticipation, follow through, and secondary action.
  • Basic design skills as they apply to creative elements of an animation including the characters and backgrounds.
